The Herbert Shaw,  Jr. Foundation, Inc.

This Foundation seeks your support  in the loving memory of Herbert Shaw, Jr., who passed away February 10, 2008, following a brave battle with pediatric brain cancer.  Herbert was a nineteen year old great son, brother, uncle, and a friend to many. In addition to maintaining honor roll as a high school senior,  he was homecoming king, a drum major for world renowned Southwest Dekalb High School Marching Band, saxophonist, percussionist for Abundant Life Church of Lithonia, Georgia, recipient of the Larry Dean Davis Scholarship and a compassionate individual. His dream was to finish college, start his own foundation to benefit brain tumor kids and to give scholarships as he received. His memory and aspirations continue to inspire others to dream and achieve.
