The Keep Truckin' Award...
The Keep Truckin’ Award may be a financial (up to $200) or tangible recognition of achievement. The Keep Truckin’ financial award will be presented based on the pursuit’s deadline for use. Each scholarship will have its own application and guidelines serving similar purposes: to plant seeds and ease financial hardship towards educational goals. Funds for the scholarships will be raised through a calendar sale, special events, individual and corporate contributions each year.
The name “Keep Truckin’” is inspired by the name of a book Herbert Shaw, Jr. wrote during the final days of his illness. He communicated that no matter what difficulties may come into a person’s life, one must stay positive and not give up or give in to obstacles. You must "Keep Truckin'..."
